A mutual friend was the magical link between these sweethearts-to-be!  A senior formal brought these two together, but not in the way you might think! While Zach brought his then girlfriend, Zoe attended with Zach’s best friend Kurt (and later best man!). It wasn’t until two years later when Kurt invited both of them to his birthday party that the newly single Zach and Zoe saw sparks fly!

And when it came time for a proposal, Zach had more than a few tricks up his sleeve. A drive from their hometown of Brisbane to the Gold Coast led Zoe into a romantic flower-filled beach set-up where Zach got down on one knee! But when her sister popped out holding a brand new adorable puppy and the rest of their families were waiting back at home, the celebrations just kept getting sweeter! 

On the search for her dream dress, Zoe got lucky on the second try! Meadow, a gorgeous soft tulle ball gown gave Zoe that something extra she had been hoping for. From the three-dimensional floral appliqués to the romantic sweetheart neckline, there was nothing simple about this style! Another feature Zoe fell in love with was the nude and ivory color palette. A step away from the classic bridal color scheme, she was all in for this uniquely stunning look!

For the big day, Summergrove Estate was an idyllic backdrop for Zoe and Zach to make it official. Incredible ocean and valley views and a beautiful sunny day were a perfect combination. Sweetening the celebration was a kitschy ice cream cart ready and waiting to serve their guests on the sprawling lawn! Of course there were waffle cones and personalized cups too! 

Floating down the aisle and seeing Zach’s reaction, full of love and emotion, was one of Zoe’s highlights of the day. Then under strung lights in the rustic chic barn for their reception, the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. hit the dance floor and cut into a flowery three-tiered cake, with a Z & Z monogram! A picture perfect day for these lovebirds!
