Real Bride Stories

Billowing sheer curtains floated like clouds through the airy studio Thursday morning, as our appropriately named Reverie collection made its NYBFW debut! Guests took their seats under bright lights as they eagerly awaited our fabulous gowns to make their grand entrance.

On their way in, guests gazed at our brand new Madeline Gardner Signature collection on models high atop pedestals. Intricate glittery beading, sequined embroideries, full skirts, lace trims, each detail a treat for the eyes! This dreamy assembly of dresses all led to the stunning Santina gown, a fit-to-flare piece of art with a dramatic cathedral train, plunging off-the-shoulder neckline, and glistening beaded fringed sleeves. One sparkling confection after another made it hard to pick just one favorite!

Meanwhile, backstage, our designer extraordinaire was busy tweaking last-minute details! From expertly fluffing the long sheer trains to adjusting beautifully laid bodices, Madeline ensured each look was runway ready! Models channeled the whimsical energy of our Reverie collection with tints of shimmery fairy dust and pearls speckled on their face giving them that ethereal glow, as their loosely swept curls glimmered with clusters of sparkly beads, that so perfectly encapsulates the inspiration behind this line. The excitement in the air was palpable from all of us backstage as the girls lined up in a sea of white.

Without missing a step, the models strutted down the aisle in lavish ballgown skirts covered with Chantilly lace, leaving a trail of twinkling crystals. We got lost in swirls of tulle sweeping by on dainty fit-to-flare silhouettes. Glittering bodices made of diamante beading looked every bit as glamorous as they sounded on sophisticated mermaid shapes.

Head to toe, we loved the whirlwind of delicate sparkling straps, frosted lace appliqués, floral embroideries, and scalloped trains that made each dress stand out.  And when it came time for the Finale piece, everyone absolutely swooned for the Serendipity, a vintage patterned strapless ballgown with crystal beading, a metallic printed organza skirt, a stunning cathedral train, and unique detachable beaded gauntlets. Just magical!

When Madeline joined our girls for one final sashay down the runway, it was easy to see why applause erupted and faces lit up for a last peek at the dazzling designs and the creative force behind them! The show left everyone wondering if it was all just a dream?!

Wishes really will come true for our brides when this stunning collection goes live online and in stores in the coming weeks. Until next time, we’re signing off from another unforgettable bridal fashion week!
