Morilee Featured Bride: Maddy

Maddy made the first move, swiping right on true love when she matched with Kevin! The pair matched on a dating app back in 2018. It took a year of chatting and getting to know one another before the stars aligned and the couple went on what they like to call their “second first date.” Maddy and Kevin had an instant connection that neither could deny and knew they had found something special in each other!

Kevin’s goal when proposing was for it to be a total surprise. The two shared a romantic weekend in Sedona for a friend’s wedding where, unbeknownst to Kevin, Maddy was fully expecting him to pop the question. When that never happened, the couple left Sedona with Maddy believing she wouldn’t get engaged any time soon. After that, they went to Kevin’s parents’ house to celebrate his birthday and it was there that he proposed! He blew out his candles, got down on one knee, and said to Maddy “There’s one thing that I could wish for in my life and it’s to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?” Kevin achieved his goal because Maddy was fully not expecting it, surprising her in the absolute best way! Of course, she said yes!

When Maddy went dress shopping, she tried on our Stefani gown and knew there was something special about it, but wasn’t ready to commit. She continued shopping and found that she was knit-picking every other gown that she tried on. Nothing seemed right, not in the way that it had when she was wearing Stefani. When Maddy tried on the gown again, she cried the moment she saw herself in it! She felt absolutely perfect in it and knew it was the one!

Maddy walked down the aisle in our figure-hugging Stefani gown, a stunning fit to flare with delicate detailing. Beaded frosted floral embroidery adorns the sparkling sequined Chantilly lace gown. The sheer petal train is romantic and feminine, but the best part is the breathtaking back! The open back features illusion detailing and beautiful beading for a unique look that is sure to wow your guests! Maddy’s mom also looked gorgeous in Morilee, wearing MGNY Style 71616—a form-fitting crepe gown with swirling beaded embroidery on the off-the-shoulder, sweetheart bodice.

The couple was married at Legacy Golf Resort in Pheonix, Arizona. Formerly part of the historic Dwight B. Heard estate, the sprawling venue sits at the base of the South Mountain. The beautiful grounds and views showcase the beautiful heritage of the location and made for an incredible wedding for Kevin and Maddy!

The whole day was incredibly special to both of them, but Maddy tell us of a few moments that really stood out. Kevin absolutely loved the first look! When he saw Maddy in her dress he couldn’t but say “damn,” which she claims helped their nerves. He was so caught up in how beautiful she looked that everything else just faded away! Maddy’s favorite moment was during the bridal portraits, after the ceremony. She tells us that to be able to stand together, as husband and wife, soaking in the feeling of each other’s love was something she’ll never forget!
