For their first date, Chrisanna and Frankie went to a cool speakeasy in Toronto. The two immediately hit it off! They were non-stop talking and laughing over cups of coffee that it wasn’t until they were ready to leave that they realized they had forgotten to order food. Instead of ending the date, the pair decided to go across the street for tacos. It only took one date to create an inseparable bond that would last a lifetime! 

Chrisanna tells us that Frankie’s proposal was so charming, sweet, and heartwarming! He took her on an all-day adventure, first on a picnic where he had initially planned to propose in front of magnificent fountains. Much to Frankie’s surprise, they were under construction. The couple still enjoyed their lunch full of all of Chrisanna’s favorite foods, and after they went on a hike. It was only when they reached their “secret spot,” at the top of a massive waterfall, that Frankie got down on one knee to propose! He asked Chrisanna to marry him in Italian before she responded, “Si!” She cried her eyes out and stared at the ring he designed especially for her. Best of all, he captured it all on video for them to relive over and over!

When Chrisanna went wedding dress shopping, she was very adamant about finding “the one.” Even though she wasn’t exactly sure what she was looking for, she knew she would feel when it was right! Chrisanna loved the look of a backless gown, something delicate and with a beautiful lace train. Nothing over-the-top, but not too simple either. She found that in our Annika dress! The back and train were exactly what she wanted! It perfectly fit her vision of “delicately sexy,” and as soon as she had it on, she knew it was “the one!”

Chrisanna walked down the aisle in our Annika gown, a cool and contemporary sheath with a splash of romance! The sleek crepe fabric perfectly hugs the body on the slim silhouette, but it’s the frosted embroidery leading to a breathtaking open back and cut-away scallop train that really makes this dress special.  

The couple was married at their church, Our Lady of Sorrows, in Toronto, Canada. The beautiful venue was the perfect place for the couple to wed, not just for the sentimentality, but it has vaulted ceilings, with stunning murals painted along the walls! The guests at their intimate ceremony were wowed by the space. For the reception, the small wedding party went to Frankie and Chrisanna’s favorite restaurant, Flor de Sal, where they had their second date! They loved the warm and inviting atmosphere surrounded by their closest people and their favorite foods.

One of the special moments from Chrisanna and Frankie’s wedding was when the musical director of the church began to play their song, Can’t Help Falling In Love. When they first met, they shared that information, and the director went and learned how to play the song on the organ, just for them! And she can’t forget walking down the aisle to see her husband standing there with the biggest smile on his face! But Chrisanna tells us that just being around her guests was what made her wedding the most special! Due to Covid, it had been so long since she’s seen her friends and family, that to have them all there filled with love and smiles was everything.
