There had been talk around Chloe’s job, at a local pub, that Stefan “fancied” her, but couldn’t work up the courage to strike up a conversation. All he would ever say to her was “Corona please.” It wasn’t until they bumped into each other on a night out that Stefan really spoke to Chloe, and she found herself smitten. And on a beautiful beach in Mexico—during a meal at sunset—Stefan proposed! Chloe recalls the romantic atmosphere, with fairy lights wrapped around the palm trees surrounding their table, as well as a saxophone player, and photographer. Her ring was hidden in a silver rose atop her dessert for an extremely sweet proposal!

Chloe knew she found her dress when she tried on our Marciela gown. She hadn’t seen anything like it elsewhere; in fact, she didn’t think that a gown so perfect existed! Chloe felt so elegant in the dress and loved how it sparkled in a classic, but subtle was. The Marciela gown is a glamorous mermaid with a romantic sweetheart neckline and diamanté beaded and alençon lace appliqué adorned bodice. The dramatic tulle skirt wowed with horsehair trim and Chloe wore the appliquéd straps off-the-shoulder for a sultry look.

Keeping in theme with their tropical proposal, the couple chose to have a destination wedding! Chloe fell in love as soon as she saw Dana Villas in Santorini, Greece and knew that had to be the place where they got married. The stunning hotel is situated on the impressive Caldera Cliffside with beautiful views of the Caldera Bay, Aegean Sea, volcano island, and the magnificent Santorini Sunset! Chloe and Stefan made it official on an outdoor terrace in front of a small and intimate group of their closest friends and family!

One of Chloe’s favorite memories from the spectacular day was a moment between her and her mother. Chloe hadn’t been nervous until about an hour before the wedding, so to help calm her down, she and her mother shared a glass of prosecco just as their car was arriving to take them to the ceremony. She also loved the moment she walked down the aisle and saw the huge smile on Stefan’s face and him say “wow” at seeing her. But the best part of the day was the speeches, Chloe says. Stefan’s speech was so heartfelt and amazing that she practically cried the whole way through! The whole say felt magical and the night closed out beneath a stunning Santorini sunset.
