Inspiration

When a dinner party turned set-up brought Leslie and Jon together, it was a perfect match. Following a romantic beach proposal a year later, this bride and groom said their vows and celebrated in an elegant California affair.

Visits to five bridal boutiques meant trying on too many dresses to count, but that didn’t stop Leslie from falling in love with the stunning Morilee Maribella gown. Lost in a sea of white in every shop, she found herself drawn to the satin A-line over and over again. Her excitement each time she put it on only cemented she had found her dream dress!

With a simply classic silhouette, Leslie fell in love with her gown’s timeless appeal. From the silky satiny smooth finish to the incredibly glamorous crystal beaded sheer back, she felt like a true princess. The pockets added a fun surprise that gave the dress an extra special touch!

Set in picturesque Costa Mesa, California, Leslie and Jon thought Avenue of the Arts, an innovative artistic hotel, would be the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Leslie loved the idea of an outdoor ceremony, and indoor reception just steps away from one another. A long stretch of palm trees and a flowing fountain set the scene, while family and friends watched the bride and groom exchange vows under a gorgeous flower covered canopy.

The party was just getting started as Leslie, Jon, and their guests made their way into a grand reception room decked out with more lush florals, greenery, and glass candle lanterns. A pale pink and gold tinted color scheme complimented the table settings, three tiered cake, and even the groom’s tie!

The night flew by for the newlyweds, but they were sure to soak up plenty of special moments. Seeing Jon’s smile as she headed down the aisle is something Leslie will always remember. The mirage of family speeches, and a father daughter dance, topped off an incredible night. The ice-cream sundae bar didn’t hurt either!  A truly classic night for this Morilee bride!
