Whether it’s your affinity for fresh air, sunny skies, and vintage barns, or you’re really just a country girl at heart, farm weddings are every bit as idyllic as they sound!
The Dress

You’ll want to dress to impress in a look that’s one part comfortable and all parts gorgeous! The River gown’s tulle over Chantilly lace A-line soft silhouette will blend beautifully as you’re walking down the aisle. Frosted lace appliqués and a sheer train give the gown a subtly glamorous touch. Just the right amount of sparkle for your country surroundings. The floral pattern is only the first detail that makes us picture the Rose ball gown front and center at a countryside affair. The natural waist, deep v-neckline, and brocade fabric balance a traditional ball gown with a more rustic flair. We’re already imagining some cowboy boots peeking through!
The Venue

Take your pick from a backyard steeped among the mountains, to a simply elegant and rustic wooden barn. Include hung outdoor string lights and generously piled bales of hay to complete the total farm chic experience. Big open fields are ideal for a picturesque ceremony setting and can lead right into an outdoor cocktail hour amongst the naturally beautiful setting. Then into the decorated barn for some good old fashion reception fun.

The Flowers

Colors that reflect nature make for dreamy inspiration for your floral palette. Plenty of whites and greens. Go for white zinnias, garden roses, or dahlias blended with long green olive branches. Depending on the season, add a colorful hue of pink with hydrangeas or yellow sunflowers for the prettiest reminder of summer.
The Food

Incorporate a hearty helping of local and seasonal ingredients! Whether you can source food right from the property, or nearby areas, dishes inspired by your surroundings will certainly be a feast fit for the festivities! Fresh heirloom tomatoes with a creamy mozzarella cheese for a delicious appetizer and organic chicken paired with a creamy squash risotto for dinner. And some fruit pies or cobblers to round it all out. Our mouths are watering!
Wonderfully Wooden Details

Nothing says country like materials right from the source! Distressed wood is perfect for crafting some seriously stunning shabby chic decor. Use wooden slates and chalk for a welcome sign to greet your guests or longer rectangular pieces as table runners. A tree stump will make for an incredibly cute and practical cake displayer.
So whether you want to keep your wedding theme really rustic or add some glam, the options are really limitless in creating the perfect look for your big day!
