Whitley and Rigsby met in 2017 at Troy University during a party at Rigsby's house. From the moment Whitley saw him, she felt an instant connection and knew he was the one. She said it was a "when you know, you know" kind of moment. On November 2, 2022, a special day for them both as it marked their 5th anniversary, Rigsby decided to make it even more memorable. At midnight, in the quiet of their study room, he got down on one knee and proposed! Despite being in the middle of studying for a big test the next day, Whitley happily said yes. The moment was perfect, heartfelt, and tied together by their love.
From the second Whitley put on our Jodi Wedding Dress, she knew it was the one! She had walked into the appointment with a clear idea of what she wanted, but this dress surpassed all her expectations. Stepping out of the fitting room, she saw the awe in the eyes of her friends and family, confirming it was perfect. Wanting to be absolutely sure, Whitley decided to sleep on it that night. The following day, her mind was made up. She returned to the boutique and bought the dress, confident that no other gown could compare. Whitley had found her dream dress!

This serene venue, with its tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views, was the perfect backdrop for their special day. The resort, a dream come true for their Caribbean destination wedding, offered a beautiful setting for their intimate beach ceremony and glamorous reception. The ocean views and stunning surroundings made it a truly memorable and magical location to begin their journey as husband and wife.
Whitley and Rigsby's wedding day overflowed with cherished moments, from getting ready with her closest friends, who were also her stylists, to her emotional first looks with Rigsby and her father, both memories filled with love and excitement. The vibrant floral arrangements exceeded all of her expectations. Their private last dance, which Whitley described as extremely special, symbolized the start of their journey together. Finally, to tie their unforgettable day together, the night ended with a lively poolside celebration surrounded by loved ones, creating memories to last a lifetime.
