"Finding the dress is actually a funny story. I saw it on a bride in a Facebook bridal group then I called 40+ bridal shops in Southern California. It was a fall style so no one had it. Still determined, I asked the lady who posted the picture of the dress where she got it. She got it in Arvada and I was going to visit family in a few weeks near by. The appointment was set and I went in with my mom and my late aunt. Little did I know that this would be one of the last few precious memories with her. She passed away with stage four lung cancer just months later. We had a lovely afternoon trying on dresses. All the other dresses really paled in comparison. It just fit me so well and we all agreed it was the one."

I first saw Faye online two months before Leslie (my husband) proposed. (I knew he was planning to propose, but I didn't know when.) I instantly fell in love. The dress was everything I wanted: fit-and-flare silhouette, lots of sparkle, no lace. I knew I would have to try it on when it came time to shop for my dress. When I got to the store, I showed the consultant a picture of it and he immediately turned and pulled off a rack right near by. I got goosebumps all over my body when I saw it. Faye was the first dress I tried on. I tried on sixteen other dresses, but nothing else came close.
