For Swedish bride Emma, it was love at first sight! She met her future husband Jonas at the bar where he worked. She says that from the moment she arrived she had her eyes on him. Emma’s friends encouraged her to leave her phone number on a receipt for him, but he was so busy he didn’t even notice! It wasn’t until Jonas’ shift ended that Emma made her move and introduced herself. From there, the rest is history!

When it came time for Jonas to propose he had the exact setting in mind. He and Emma were avid adventurers and loved to travel! She had always hinted to Jonas that he needed to pop the question abroad. So, during New Year’s, 2017, they went on a trip to Thailand with their friends. The group had a table arranged for them on a rooftop terrace to watch the paper lanterns float at midnight. Emma noticed that Jonas had been acting strange that night. He was so nervous he even spilled his drink all over the table! After dinner, “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” started playing and Emma got excited because it was their song. Little did she know, Jonas had this all planned out as he got down on one knee in front of her, and their friends, and asked her to marry him. And, of course, Emma said yes to the man of her dreams!

And just like Jonas’ proposal, Emma had a vision for exactly what she wanted in a dress. She longed for something with lots of beading and sparkle, something out of the ordinary! Emma found that at her family friend, Agnetha’s, bridal shop Anina. As soon as Agnetha brought out our Moira dress, it was game over for her. Before it was even off the hanger she knew she had to try it on.  A vision to behold with its striking glittered details and flounced tulle skirt, Emma fell fast for the ball gown. Completely enamored with the fit, Emma, her mom, and bridesmaids could’ve sworn the dress was created just for her. With every lace appliqué and jeweled diamante bead she saw, she was sold!

Planning for a summer wedding, Emma chose a blush palette for her bridal party. Picking from two versatile Morilee styles, her bridesmaids stunned in both a sultry V-neck gown with side slits in the skirt and a chiffon dress with a ruched bodice and crisscross back. The styles not only complimented Emma’s gown but perfectly paired with each other, as well.

For two people who loved to adventure to new places together, it seemed perfectly fitting to start this next chapter of their lives somewhere new and exotic! But despite Emma and Jonas’ wanderlust, there was no place like home for their nuptials! On a sunny June day, guests made their way to the small village of Mrarp, Sweden to watch Emma and Jonas tie the knot. Emma instantly loved the gorgeous greenery and lush colorful landscape of the local farm where they wed. It was the perfect combination of boho meets elegance! The couple felt like they had found a backdrop that really captured their free-spirited nature.

Surrounded by the incredible energy of light and love, Emma walked through the field to “Circle of Life” alongside her father. Seeing Jonas at the end of the aisle left her teary-eyed and overcome with happiness and gratitude. For the reception, rose, pink, and blush-colored florals adorned the tables under rustic wooden beams. The newlyweds enjoyed speeches from their loved ones and as the day crept into night, everyone made their way to the dance floor for colorful strobe lights and a live band! It was nothing short of an amazing celebration of love, gorgeously captured by photographer Andreas Löfstrand, for this Morilee bride and her groom!
