Real Bride Stories

We had a virtual front row seat on Tuesday for the debut of the Pre-Spring 2021 Modern Romance collection, and it left us wowed! Hosted by the ladies from Love Stories TV, Madeline Gardner, Designer extraordinaire herself, walked brides and retailers from all around the world through each brand new dreamy dress for an exclusive watch party!

In case you missed it live, you can watch the full runway Watch Party here. And luckily for all our brides, these gowns will be available to view on our website on Friday, but until then let’s recap a few sneak peeks from the show!

Modeled after modern silhouettes and laces, these dresses have couture styling from inside to out. Ultra soft looks are at the center of the collection with flowing light fabrics, sheer details, flowery lace patterns, and sparkles on sparkles!

The Madeline Gardner Signature Collection swept in first with each gown more gorgeous than the next! The floral lace Amabelle is the epitome of ethereal romance with beaded netting, a soft tulle overlay, and a floral appliqué along the whole hemline.  The resurgence of the puff sleeve was in full force, making a statement while being delicate as ever on the Antoinette and Avonlea. And then came the Angelina ballgown, a sparkly crystal beaded confection with glittering sheer sleeves and a sultry show stopping sheer back!

Kicking off the Morilee by Madeline Gardner line, Adelaide’s soft draped netting and leafy patterned lace along the straps was a flowery delight! Adrianna had us swooning with a light off-the-shoulder sleeve and floral details that wrap around the back. Sparkle net, sparkle tulle, and sequins means shimmer for days on the Alessandra and Antonella. The slim Ada gown, featuring a new petal satin, is subtle, sophisticated, and simply perfect! Amy, a full silhouette A-line floated down the aisle with an incredible oversized bow that cascaded gracefully down. Just one of so many beautiful backs we saw!

And for the finale piece we gazed upon Sage (pictured right of article at top), the classic princess ballgown! It was easy to fall in love with the allover crystal beaded embroidery on layers and layers of flouncing tulle, Chantilly lace, sparkle net, and a flowing dramatic cathedral train. Nothing short of a bridal beauty!

Besties of the bride were in for a treat as well when the new bridesmaid collection made its way down the runway. An array of stunning shapes, styles, and colors that offered something for everyone, and most importantly a compliment to the bride!

While the show looked a bit different this year, it was magical to celebrate our brides with the Modern Romance collection. The full line of gowns will go live this Friday April 17th, so stay tuned for the dress of your dreams!
