Pumpkin spice lattes, crunching leaves, and the crisp air. Fall is finally upon us. While we think any season is the right season to say I Do, we can’t help but drool over the changing colors, smoky smell, and that just right chill in the air that seems to be following us everywhere these days.

It’s hard to argue with all the charm and romance of September, October, and November. The rich Fall foliage provides a stunning backdrop for all of your pictures and even your ceremony, if you opt for an outdoor venue. (Think heat lamps!) With the harvest season in full swing, you can plan an in-season menu that will delight all of your guests. Going wrong with butternut squash soup and a shaved brussel sprout salad will be difficult! Think about picking bridesmaids dresses in deep hues of red or plum for a look that will compliment your dress and the scenery.

If you’re considering a Fall celebration and debating over your venue options a couple of choices will really highlight everything this gorgeous season has to offer. A barn wedding gives a rustic feel that will allow you and your guests to enjoy every beautiful detail. You can play up the autumn theme with gorgeous wooden tables, and a mix of burgundy, red, and orange flower arrangements. Tie in some browns and greens to pull it all together. A winery is another option to enchant all your Autumnal senses. Can you think of anything more romantic than weaving in and out of the vineyard rows while taking your couple portraits? We can’t!
