Real Bride Stories

Celebrities always wow us when they step onto the red carpet. They serve fierce looks in designer dresses that have a swooning to one day wear something so beautiful. But there’s no comparison to a celebrity walking down the aisle! Custom made wedding gowns boasting the longest trains, finest fabrics, and extravagant details. Here we’re taking a look back at some of the most iconic celebrity brides and their gorgeous gowns!

Princess Diana

No expense or fabric was spared when Diana wowed the world in an ivory silk taffeta and lace gown, that included a 25-foot train. The gown was intricately embroidered with sequins, frilled lace, and 10,000 pearls and, not to be topped by the dress itself, she wore a 153-yard tulle veil attached to her tiara. We’re still in awe!

Kim Kardashian

The Kardashians are known for drama, and Kim’s wedding dress—when she wed Kanye—was no exception! The custom Givenchy gown featured a demure neckline and sheer long sleeves but brought out the sexy with sheer side paneling and an open back. Kim K. completed this Haute Couture look with a sweeping, floor-length silk veil.

Audrey Hepburn

Grace and style were defining characteristics of Audrey Hepburn, so it should come as no surprise that she looked like the essence of elegance in her wedding dress. In true ’50s fashion, she wore a high necked, tea-length dress with a waist-cinching satin sash, tied into a big bow in the back, and elbow-length white gloves. The picture of perfection! Not to mention her delicate flower crown that added a bit of whimsy to this refined look.

Serena Williams

It was game, set, match for Serena in her strapless ballgown! Sarah Burton, Kate Middleton’s dress designer, made Williams’ princess dream come true in her voluminous ballgown with a belted waist. What really wow us though, was the magnificent cape she walked down the aisle in.

Kate Middleton

Everyone waited to catch a glimpse of Kate on her wedding day, and she didn’t disappoint! We’re still swooning over her long sleeve, floral lace and satin A-line gown with Victorian-inspired corsetry in the bodice, nearly nine-foot train, and handmade appliqué by the Royal School of Needlework. And no princess would be complete without a tiara, borrowed from the Queen, of course!

Victoria Beckham

Posh spice lived up to her nickname in a Vera Wang champagne ballgown. This satin stunner featured an ultra-fitted strapless bodice, sculpted neckline, a voluminous full skirt that extended into a 20-foot train. And the final touch was an 18K gold tiara, fit for the pop royalty she was!

Grace Kelly

A fairytale come true, Grace Kelly became a real-life princess when she wore a regal multi-piece gown made of silk net, three petticoats, a lace bodice, and even included a 125-year-old rose point Brussels lace in the design. Instead of the traditional tiara, Kelly opted to wear a Juliet cap adorned with lace, orange blossoms, and jewels. One of the most iconic statements in bridal beauty!
