Real Bride Stories

Call it the final fling before the ring, a weekend to gather the girls and the perfect excuse to celebrate! Whatever the plans turn out to be, the bride’s bachelorette party should be all about having fun and making memories! Here are some tips and tricks for putting together the ultimate soiree and making sure your bestie has the greatest time ringing her soon-to-be-Mrs. status!

What To Do

The best part about having all the bride’s favorite people in one place is no matter what you do it’s bound to be a blast! A weekend getaway with the girls is an awesome idea and popular choice. Many bride tribes are heading off to the Caribbean islands or Mexican hotspots like Cabo and Tulum, but there are so many great destinations in the U.S. that make amazing bachelorette vacay! Places like Nashville, Austin, NYC, Miami, Palm Springs, and–of course–Las Vegas offer lots to explore and plenty of nightlife! If the bridal party can’t take a long weekend to travel and celebrate keep it local. Plan a wine tour for the day, or go on a hike if the bride is a fitness junkie, and do all the things that make her happy! Depending on your group size, you could organize a private painting, cooking, or spin class to get the day or night started!

Bride Tribe Swag

If there’s ever a time to get extra kitschy this is definitely it! Using the bride’s new last name or monogram can make for creative and cute decorations. Get her a t-shirt or sash that designates her as the bride-to-be or have her wedding hashtag printed on the back of a denim jacket! Include the whole squad in the fun too! Make sure every person in the bridal party has their own swag, whether that’s tank tops, swimsuits, or hats that say bridesmaid or maid of honor. If the party is going to be a weekend affair, welcome everyone with grab bags emblazoned with the wedding hashtag or catchy phrase made especially for the bachelorette party. Swag is always fun to keep, to make it cute and special for everyone involved!

It’s Game Time

When everyone’s gathered around for a glass or three of wine before heading out for the night, prepare a few games that’ll get the mood buzzing. Bestie bingo will have everyone laughing as you recount funny stores about the bride. A scandalous scavenger hunt will keep the whole group busy with silly tasks, and for a real surprise, create giant picture cutouts of the bride’s fiancée for her to tote around town! Whatever you do, just make sure the bride has one unforgettable time with her “I Do” crew!
